Some of the world’s foremost jazz musicians, such as Quincy Jones, Don Cherry and Dexter Gordon, left the US for Sweden in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Several stayed and started families. This is a music documentary and a social portrait where different people’s experiences of class affiliation, social visions and artistic dreams were crossed and turned into something completely new musically. This is their story.
